sword rack (sordrak)

A kind of stand upon which gentlemen place their swords at night. It is usually of wood, either plain or lacquered, and has notches to hold one or more swords; sometimes the transportation. stand is made to fold together with hinges, for easy sword-sedge (sõrd's ej), n.
