Ossoli

[ŏs´o-lee], Sarah Margaret [Fuller], Marchione d’. Ms., 1810-1850. A once famous writer of Boston whose personality was more than anything she ever wrote, and who is little more than a name to the present generation. She was a gifted woman, and as a teacher in Boston, editor of The Dial, and literary critic for The New York Tribune, was a prominent figure.
