Conduit st. 1858–66, at 10 Poland st. 1866–8, at 38 Brewer st. 1868–70, at 19 Air st. 1875–7; handwriting expert at 7 Theobald’s road 1881–3, and at 10 Bedford row 1883 to death; engaged in connection with the Irish commi ion 1889; is depicted in Charles Reade’s novel Foul Play 1869, under name of Under clift; published A collection of one hundred autograph letters 1849; The autograph miscellany 1855; The hand-book of autographs 1858–62; and the fac-similes in R.
