Lebĕdus

, or Lebĕdos , a town of Ionia, at the north of Colophon, where festivals were yearly observed in honour of Bacchus, and where Trophonius had a cave and a temple. Lysimachus destroyed it, and carried part of the inhabitants to Ephesus. It had been founded by an A then i an colony, under one of the sons of Codrus.
