As we now po e it, this is a very inaccurate record of Hebrew history, compiled about 330 B.c., from known and unknown sources (see Bible and Ezra), according to Bishop Colenso’s date (Pent. vii; see Sir G, Cox’s Life, i, p. 682). The language is late Hebrew.
