(Lat.),n.n, A?m(am)-fi%s’to-ma’. Gen.) a mph is tom'atos (-tis). From appiotopkos, having a double mouth or opening. Fr., a mph is to me. Ger.,Zapfenwurm, Endloch, It.,Sp., anfistoma. A genus of parasitic animals of the cla Scolecid a, order Trematoda, established by Rudolphi; distinguished by having a suctorial disc at the terior as well as at the anterior extremity. A species found in t numbers in the aunch and psalterium of ruminants; a redd i: rhite worm, 10 to 5 mm, long, 2 to 3 mm. thick, having a small mouth and a posterior suctorial disc 2 to 3 mm, broad.
