[Perhaps tip-car (tip'kär), n. On a railroad, a gravel-car or coal-car pivoted on its truck, so that it can be upset to discharge its load at the side of the track; a dump-car. tip-cart (tip'kärt), n. A cart the platform of which is hung so that its rear end can be tipped or canted down to empty its contents. Also called dump - cart.
