Chandler

Seth C., an American astronomer, born in Boston, Ma ., Sept. 16, 1845; well known for his investigations and observations of the phenomena of variable stars, the computation of comet orbits, and, in connection with J. Ritchie, Jr., of Boston, for devising a system of astronomical code-telegrams for the announcement of astronomical discoveries.
