Nearly arctic; existing or occurring a little south of the arctic circle: as, a subarctic region or fauna; subare tic animals or plants; a subarctic climate. subarcuate (sub-är'ku-āt), a. Somewhat bent or bowed; slightly arcuated. sub arcuated (sub-är'ku-a-ted), a. Same as sub arcuate. sub areolar (sub-a-re'ō-lär), a. Situated beneath the mammary areola. - Sub areolar absce , a fu-, runcular subcutaneous absce of the areola of the nipple. subarmor (sub'ärmor), п.
