Meteorograph

Chandler's Encyclopedia · 1898 · p. 59
Apparatus for graphic record of any meteorological phenomenon. In automatic meteorographs the records are made by direct action of the natural phenomenon upon the apparatus, or in sunshine recorders, barographs, anemometers, etc. This term is frequently restricted to systems of apparatus or confirmations (as Secchi's, Wild's, Baumhauer's) by which many meteorological phenomena are recorded on one sheet of paper.
