of the Equator they are called North East, and South of it South East Trade winds, and the regions where they blow are known to Mariners as the „ Trades”. According to the season they approach near, or recede from the Equator; they are usually met with between the 10th and 30 th degrees of Latitude in summer, and between the 3rd and 20 th degrees during the winter-season in either Hemisphere.
