[ endosteum (en-dos'tē-um), n.; pl. endostea (-ä). [NL., 2. Cuttlebone. endostoma (en-dos'tō-mä), n.; pl. endostomæ (-mě). [NL., Gr. ένδον, within, + στόμα, the mouth.] 1. In zoöl., a part situated behind and supporting the labrum in some Crustacea. -2. In pathol., an o eous tumor within a bone.
