Pg. turbinado = It. turbinato, inverted; narrow base and broad at the apex: Middle turbinate bone, an indefinite lower section of the lateral ma of the ethmoid. - Superior turbinate bone, an indefinite upper part of the lateral ma of the ethmoid.
