xylonite (zilonit)

In Latreille's system of cla ification, the second family of his tetram erous Coleoptera, containing many forms now distributed among the Bostrichidæ, Mycetopha gidæ, Cioidæ, Lathridiidæ, Cucujidæ, Colydiida, and Trogositidæ.-2. In Meigen's cla ification, same as Xylophagidæ.
