Gerard

Baron Franco is Paseal, a French portrait and historical patos: born of French ppreuinnee in ome, March 11, 1770. The grandest of his works are his historical pictures, the “Battle of Austerlitz” ae and the “Entry of Henry IV. inte Paris” (1814). Gerard was appointed first court painter and raised to the rank of baron by Louis XVIII. He died in Paris, Jan. 11, 1837.
