A bandage susceptible of being stretched. The Esmarch e. b. is made of fiat rubber ti ue, about three inches wide and long enough to cover the foot, leg, and thigh of a large adult when applied in a spiral beginning at the toes. e. skin. A rare condition in which the skin, without other changes, po e es abnormal elasticity. The ordinary examples of the condition are the "india-rubber" men, who exhibit themselves as freaks, e. stocking. A stocking made of webbing of cotton or silk combined with rubber, contrived to fit snugly over the foot, ankle, leg, knee, or thigh, the whole or a part of them, and to exert continuous pre ure on the surface, e. ti ue in sputum, how to recognize, see in appendix, page 902.
