Hybrid

Offspring of the fertilization of one species of animal or plant by another, as the mule, a cro between the horse and the a , and many cultivated garden plants, as Verbenas. Two sorts of hybrids can theoretically be produced between any two species, the father of one with the mother of the other, and the father of the second with the mother from the first. Hybrids are usually sterile.
