OF. At Jerusalem. One of the most beautiful buildings of the Mohammedan world; dome-shaped above, with polygonal form below, wholly covered with tiles having green and blue ornament. Generally dated to the 7th century. Fergu on believed it to have been originally a Christian church of the 4th century. Omar Khayyam, ab.1050-ab.1122. Persian astronomer and agnostic poet.
