Leading a low, mean, or disrepu table life. low-ma , s. 1. Roman Ritual : A ma in which the celebrant is attended only by acolytes, usually but by one, not by deacon and sub-deacon. The ma is said, not sung. [MASS, 2.] 2. Anglican Ritual : The same as Low-CELEBRATION (q. v.). *low-men, s. pl . Dice so loaded that the low numbers always came uppermost.
