pl. [NL., micro saurian (mi-krō-saʼri-an), a. and n. [ II. n. A member of the group Micros a uri a . micro sclere (mikro-sklēr), n. [ μικρός , small, + σκληρός , hard.] A flesh-spicule of a sponge. Micro scleres are generally of minute size, and serve usually for the support of a single cell.
