[As Anamni ota +-ic.] Without amnion: as, fishes and amphibians are anamniotic vertebrates. An equivalent form is an amnionic. anamorphism (an-a-morfizm), n. [ Anamorphoscope. cal mirror which gives a correct image of a distorted picture drawn at the base on a plane at right angles to the axis of the mirror. See anamorphosis.
