[Eng. super nat ural; -istic.] Pertaining or relating to super naturalism (q. v.). sū-per-năt-u-răl-1-ty, s . [ Eng.supernatural ; -ity.] The quality or state of being supernatural. sū-per-năt-u-ral-ize, v . t . supernatu ral ; -ize.] To treat or consider as belonging or per taining to a supernatural state; to elevate into the region of the supernatural; to render supernatural. sù-per-năt'-u-ral-ly, adv . [Eng. supernatu ral;-ly.] In a supernatural manner or degree; in a manner or degree above or beyond the course or power of nature.
