Bolinide (bolinide)

pl. [NL., -ida .] A family of lobate ctenophorans. bolita (bo-lē'tä), n. [Dim. of Sp. bola, a ball.] A three-banded armadillo, family Dasypodidæ and genus Tolypeutes, which can roll itself up into a ball. It is also called ball armadillo, matico, and apar.
