This definition, which is not strictly in accordance with our present nomenclature, is still applied to the nitric acid esters of glycerin and of cellulose. mono nitro phenol The compound QHi(N02)OH, (mon"o-ni-tro-fe'nol). known in four isomeric forms: (1) or thonitro phenol; (2) an apparently dimorphous form of ortho nitro phenol; (3) meta nitro phenol, (4) para nitro phenol. mononuclear (mon-6-nu'kle-ahr). but one nucleus; uninuclear.
