Plicaria (plikaʻria)

[NL., fem. of L. plicatus, pp. of plicare, fold: see pli cate.] In the Rom. Cath. Ch., the folded chasuble worn at certain penitential seasons by the deacon and subdeacon, or by a priest when officiating as deacon. McClintock and Strong. plicate (plī kāt), a. [ 2.
