interagency

[Pref. inter- , and alve olar (q. v.).] Anat.: Between the alveoli of the lungs. Used of the inter alveolar lymphatics which, united below, pa upward to the inner surface of the alveoli. In-ter-ăm-bu-lā-cra, s. pl . [Pref. inter- , and Eng., ., ambulacra (q. v.). Zool .: The imperforate plates which occupy the intervals of the perforated ones (ambulacra) in the shells of Echinoderms.
