Selago (selago)

There are about 95 spe cies, all South African except one in tropical Africa and one, S. mural is, growing on the walls of the capital of Madagascar. They are dwarf heath-like shrubs, sometimes small annuals, often low and diffuse, and with many slender branchlets.
