kon-fis'-kate, or kon'-fis-kate, v.a. to adjudge to be forfeited, as a penalty, to the public treasury for public use; to seize as forfeited: a. forfeited and adjudged to the public treasury, as the goods of a criminal; seized as forfeited (L. con, and fisc us a basket, money-bag).
