Atmosphere

Unit of pre ure, being the pre ure of the atmosphere at sea level. More exactly defined by the International Bureau of Weights and Measures as the pre ure of a vertical column of 760 millimeters of pure mercury under the standard gravity prevailing at sea level and 45° latitude at a temperature of 0 C.
