meadowlark (medolark)

1. A well-known bird of the family Icterid a, or American starlings; the field-lark, Sturnella magna. The upper parts are mottled gray, brown, and black, the under are bright yellow wowakabits of the United bright-yellow with black horseshoe-shaped mark on States.
