(ba'toom,) a seaport-town of Turkey in Asia, near the Ru ian frontier, on the E. shore of the Black Sea; Lat. 41° 38′41″ N., Lon. 41° 38′ 55" E. It has a fine, harbor. Pop. 3,000. Transferred to Ru ia in 1878. [s. 78]
