GEORGE P., (mor'ris,) an American poet and journalist, B. in Phila., 1802, became in 1844 one of the editors of the N. Y. " Evening Mirror," and two years later co-founder with N. P. Will is of the " Home Journal." In a ociation with the latter, he also edited The Prose and Poetry of Europe and America.
