It is served by the St. the Louis and Southwestern, Texas and Peters Pacific, Houston and Texas Central, Mi ouri, Kansas and Texas, Mi ouri, Court Oklahoma and Gulf and the St. Louis to and San Francisco Railroads. It is the the center of a fertile, agricultural and military stock raising district.
