Terminal Velocity

When a body falls in the atmosphere, there is a certain limit to the velocity it will acquire, and this is attained theoretically when the resistance of the air has become equal to the accelerating force of gravity; the motion of the body will then continue uniform, and is called its terminal velocity. The remaining velocity at the point of burst or point of fall.
