Signals, usually indicating danger, which are displayed on railroads without direct manipulation, being operated by rods and levers which are connected with the IMG:content-0376.jpg:[graphic][graphic] IMG:content-0377.jpg:[graphic][subsumed] Autoclave per at ures above their boiling-points. Largely used in the manufacture of coal-tar colors. It is heated in oil or lead bath.
