DOMENICO, (che-mah-ro'zah,) an Italian musician and composer, B. 1749. He was succe ively director of the court opera at St. Petersburg and Vienna, in which last-named city he D. in 1801. He composed some 90 operas, of which the best is Il Matrimonio Segreto, besides quite a number of ma es and cantatas. [s. 188]
