Pliocene (pliosen)

[= F. pliocène, for * Plionocene, nus. Pliolophide (plī-ō-lof'i-dē), n. pl. [NL., ticulated with the premaxillaries; and the upper molars had two transverse rows of tubercles separated by an intervening valley, with a cingulum anteriorly and internally. The external lobes of the upper molars were well separated and little flattened, and the lobes of the lower molars scarcely united.
