ACEPHALUS

(Lat.), n. m. A*(a5)-se?f(ke?f)’a3-lus(lu‘s). Gr., dxépados, Fr., acéphale, monstre acéphalien, Ger., Ohnekopf. It., acefalo. Sp.,acéfalo. An a cardiac monster (see A CARDIAc US) without a Sais or with only a rudimentary head.—A. dibrachius. An a. with both upper limbs present but more or le undeveloped. —A. dip us.
