American authore and artist, 6. at Harrodsburg, Ky.; daughter of John Thompson and Leonora HamilDavie . After graduating from Hill, at Shelbyville, Ky., in she took a special literary course Wellesley and later studied painting various schools in Paris. She at was a miniature painter and art worker and in 1904-5 exhibited the Paris Salon. She afterwards writing and in addition to short for leading magazines she was the of: Mi Selina Sue and the Soap Babies, 1909; The Road to Prov1910; Rose of Old Harpeth, also Treasure Babies, 1911; The Melting Molly, 1912 (dramatized); The Box, 1913; Over Paradise Ridge, The Daredevil, 1916 (dramatized); Heart’s Kingdom, 1917; The Golden 1918; Bluegra and Broadway, and The Matrix in 1920.
