Phymata (fi-māʼtä), n. [NL. (Latreille, 1802), cal America, Phymata eros a. genus. physalian (fi-sa'li-an), a. and n. I. a. Pertaining to the genus Physalia, or having its characters. II. n. A member of the ge nus Physalia. Portuguese Man-ofwar ( Physalia pela gica ).
