It is a white, very crystalline, and brittle wax, resembling spermaceti in appearance, with a specific gravity of.973 at 150 C.; it fuses at 820 to 830 C. It is slightly soluble in alcohol and ether, very soluble in benzene. It is used in candle making. C. White. Same as Zinc-white. C. Yellow. Same as Yellow and Ocher.
