Hay Asthma, or HAY FEVER

Acute inflammation of the mucous membranes of the eyes, nose, throat, and bronchial tubes, causing watering of the eyes, discharge from the nose, sneezing, and cough; occurring at regular seasons each year, and believed to be due to irritation caused by the pollen of the hay-blo oms and other flowers. Some are affected by the pollen from one plant, and others by that of another. Removal, during the season of the flowering of the plant to which one is susceptible, to a locality where it is not found is the only sure method of preventing an attack.
