pl. [Mod. Lat. floscular i (a); Lat. fem. pl. adj. suff. -idæ, or neut. pl. Zobl .: A family of Rotifer a, order Se ilia. They are distinguished by having bent spiniform teeth at the orifice of the œsophagus. filos-cûle, fios-cu-lus (pl. fios'-cu-li), s. 1. Sing.: A floret. 2. Pl.: [FLOSCULI.] flos'-cu-lī, s. μι. [Pl. of Lat. flosculus =a little flower, a floret.1 Bot.: The same as FLORETS (q. v.).
