Rubbish

rub'bish, n. Waste or rejected matter; any- thing worthle fragments ruins debris. [ME. roboios, robeux, obs. F. robel, dim. of robe, spoil, a garment, odds and ends, trash; robiccia, rubbish, trifles, trash, Olt. robba, a robe, goods, pelf, trash; not nib.] — Rub'ble, n. Water-worn or rough stones, broken bricks, etc., used in coarse masonry, or to up between walls. [ME. robeaux see above.]— Rub'ble-stoncn. Rubble. (Geol.)
