(bro-mo-kar’pin). A proprietary remedy for epilepsy and other nervous disorders, containing, it is said, pota ium bromid and pilo- carp in. bromochloralum (bro”’mo-klo-ral’um). A_proprietary compound containing bromin and chloralum: disinfectant and antiseptic. bromocoll (bro’mo-kol). A yellowish, tastele wder, a combination of gelatin and tannin with rom in: used like pota ium bromid; also in an ointment for pruritus. Dose, 3-15 gr. (0.198-1 gm.). bromo derma (bro-mo-der’mah) [bromin + Gr- δέρμα skin]. A skin eruption due to the use of bromin or bromids. bromoform (bro’mo-form). A colorle liquid, CHBr;, or formyl! bromid,. an anesthetic and antispasmodic substance. It is used as an anesthetic in whooping-cough and as a sedative in sea-sickne . Dose, 3-15 min. (0.194-1 C.C.).
