(sil’in-der). A solid body shaped like a column; especially a cylindric cast or cylindric lens. Bence-Jones c's, cylindric gelatinous bodies forming the contents of the seminal vesicles Kiilz’s c. See coma cast, under cast. Lydig's c’s, bundles of muscular fibers separated by partitions of protoplasm.
