In conch., a division of Cephalopod a, containing those cephalopods whose shell is single-chambered, as the genus Argonaut a. Lamarck. mono thalami an (mon"ō-tha-la'mi-an), a. and or consisting of a single shaft: applied to me-n. [ mono spored (mon'ō-spord), α. [ σπόρος , a seed, + -ed2.] Same as mono-dieval pillars, in contradistinction to polystyle . sporous.
