Sailing-trim

A ve el is considered to be in „ Sailing-trim ”, when so laden or ballasted, that the weight she carries is neither too light nor too heavy, and that she is neither too much by the head nor the stern; also that the cargo in stowing has been so distributed as not to endanger the ship’s stability.
