The same as CHLORIMETRY, q. v. Chloronit'ric Gas, n. ( Chem.) Peroxide of nitrogen in which two equivalents of oxygen are replaced by two of chlorine. Yellowish red fumes are evolved when nitro hydrochloric acid is gently heated.
