in lichenography; one who writes descriptions of lichens. li-chen-og-ra-phỹ, lich-en-ōg'-ra-phỹ, subst. [Gr. leichen a lichen, and grapho =to write.] That branch of science which deals with the natural history of lichens; a description of lichens. li-chen-bid, adj . [Gr. leichen = a lichen, and eidos =form, appearence.] Having the appearance, or partaking of the nature of a lichen. li-chen-o-log-ic-al, lich-en-o-log-ic-al, adj. [Eng. lichenolog (y); -cal.] Of or pertaining to lichenology. some of which are crystalline. 11-chi', s . [LEECHEE.]
